Analysis of street style Research So, it has come to my attention that: A) streetwear is a very popular market in New Zealand AND abroad B) Menswear seems to be a lot more casual than the womenswear C) Layering of garments seems to be on trend for autumn winter (obviously).. SO! I shall incorporate these findings into my designs! The layering fits in quite nicely with my concept of beauty beneath the layers

While… while gathering inspiration from street style across the globe, It became apparent that it was easier to find garments and “inspiration” for womens wear and not so much Mens. This was a slight problem as I decided to change my work for this assignment to Men and Womenswear. And then… I came across JUUNJ!! An AWESOME asian designer. predominantly menswear. Preeeeety much everything I was looking for! check out his fall/winter collection!! *dies* http://www.juunj.com/index.html

Independant work Independant work: take to the street and analyse current trends and what people are wearing. So…. this was extremely hard and awkward to do..very much embarrasing…so I searched online instead and found many a blog looking into different street styles around the world.. Some of my fav’s:  http://citizencouture.com/. a pretty cool site following fashion and inspiration from the streets of new york http://www.thesartorialist.com/page/2/. pages and pages of urban streetstyle.! http://streetpeeper.com/ . another cool site which snaps fashion street style from different continents http://blog.stylesight.com/street . this site was cool because it reported on the “on trend” pieces and displayed diffferent examples of how to wear them! I also looked at  drop tokyo. An asian street style blog. To be honest I did not find it that appealing nor interesting..
